the INSTRUMENTS used on music:


Ed's keyboard parts on the album were played on a 88-key Yamaha S80 keyboard that was routed through various plug-ins including Ed's favorite: Digidesign's Vintage Electric keyboard plug-in, Velvet, for Pro Tools.

Ed's electric rhythm guitar parts on the album were played on a
ESP PC-1V semi-hollowbody w/ Bigsby guitar.

Ed's acoustic rhythm guitar parts were played on a Yamaha FG730S acoustic guitar that was mic'd with a matched pair of M-Audio Pulsar II small-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphones.

Ed's guitar solos were played on a Fender '57 Stratocaster amped through an VOX AC30 guitar amp.
Ed's guitar pedal chain is Ibanez tube screamer->Keeley compressor->Boss EQ->Boss Chorus->Boss Noise Suppressor->Boss Digital Delay.
The songs Greg played bass on were
on a Rickenbacher bass guitar.
Ed played bass on "Together" and "Nobody Knows"
with a 4-string Thunderbird.
The drums Ed played on the record were a mix between a silver TAMA Rockstar 5-piece drum kit(used as a midi trigger) that went into Digidesign's Strike Plug-in for Pro Tools.
 
Ed's vocals parts on the album were captured with a
M-Audio Solaris large-diaphragm condenser microphone.
